Jennifer Evans designed Paisley Botanical Lines for her Paisley Florals collection.
The Paisley motif has been around for centuries. Some trace its beginnings to ancient Babylon or in weavings dating back to the first millennium BC. The paisley, known as "boteh" or "buta" refers to the teardrop shape and has been used in weavings, fabric and home decor by people worldwide. Depending on the culture, it can symbolize a tree, fire, the yin-yang symbol, or a spray of floral elements.
These 3 graduated sizes of paisley on the stencil have linear decorations that feature flowers and leaves radiating out from the center.
