This one of a kind marche' (market bag) is perfect for shopping at the local farmers market or any outing that demands a large, lightweight, stuffable tote. I spend many hours on each bag with raw edge applique, hand and machine stitched embroidery, and hand painting, stenciling, and stamping with high quality Daydream Apothecary paints mixed with Dreamcoat, and embellished with my hand dyed vintage laces.

The vintage twill tape drawstring closure can be pulled and tied for a more secure opening.
 
I roll and pack this type of bag in my suitcase when I travel so I have something to stuff full if I shop too much and it doesn't fit in my suitcase! 
 
Spot clean, or wash in cold water, gentle cycle, gentle detergent, in a mesh laundry bag and line dry or keep in the laundy bag and fluff dry. Steam press if needed after wash. 
 
Hand painted and raw edge appliqued sewn apparel and accessories will fade and fray slightly over time, which adds to the vintage charm.
